Thinker Tank Invents, part of the C3 Ignite program, empowers students at St. Maria Goretti Catholic School to become inventors and creative problem-solvers. In partnership with Lemelson-MIT and the San Pedro Pastoral Region, the initiative fosters critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity. Through the program, students develop invention prototypes and present them in competitions. In their first year, 15 students participated in the Inglewood ADLA Invention Convention, with three winning first-place awards and two advancing to the Sacramento competition. This program has opened new opportunities, helping students build confidence, expand their skills, and engage as changemakers in their communities.

The THINKER TANK Difference!A Spark of creativity in our classrooms all year long.The C3 Thinker Tank Community is a yearlong program that provides teachers and educators with the necessary techniques to teach their students essential life skills, such as critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and communication through specially designed, interactive projects. Teachers will also share their ideas and collaborate with other members inside the Community.

Teachers supervise AI use to ensure it aligns with the school’s values, and violations may result in disciplinary action. This policy is regularly reviewed to stay aligned with both technological advancements and the school’s mission.
