Each family is required to complete 40 hours of volunteer work to contribute to the school and/or parish community. This service can be done in various ways, including helping with school events, assisting in classroom activities, participating in parish activities, or volunteering for administrative tasks, depending on the needs of the school or parish. It is important to recognize that the full cost of educating your child exceeds the tuition rate you pay. As a result we depend significantly on your volunteer efforts.

Alternatives to Volunteering:

• Instead of completing the required 40 hours of service, families can pay a fee of $680, which is equivalent to $17 per hour. This is an alternative option for families who might not have the time or ability to complete the service hours.

• Non-transferable: The hours or payment are tied to the specific family. This means that the service hours cannot be transferred to another family (e.g., if one family does the hours for another, it won’t count). The requirement applies to each family individually.
